Brian Thompson has been practicing law for nearly 20 years, having received his undergraduate degree from Loyola University, magna cum laude, in 1979 and his Juris Doctorate degree, with honors, from Loyola School of Law in 1987.
For the first 10 years of practice he represented the insurance companies in personal injury cases. During the past 10 years he has solely represented victims of abuse and neglect. Because of his extensive background and knowledge of the insurance industry he is better positioned to represent those who wish to file claims against them.
From 1987-1992 Brian practiced with Gelpi, Sullivan, Caroll & Laborde in New Orleans. From 1992-1996 he practiced with Gunn, Ogden & Sullivan, P.A. in Tampa, and 1996 until 2006, with Wilkes & McHugh, P.A., where he was responsible for several multi-million dollar jury verdicts.
Brian is licensed to practice law in Florida, Mississippi, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Tennessee. He is a member of the Florida Bar and a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates.
